Meet Our Veterinarians
Dr. Yvette Lam
Lead Veterinarian
Dr. Lam has been an animal lover from the beginning and has a long-haired cat named Cas (full name: Castiel) and a short-haired cat named Tuna. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph, and graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Melbourne.
Dr. Lam has treated various animals from dogs, cats, to a Blue Penguin in Canada and Australia. She has worked in veterinary hospitals, farms, and wildlife rehabilitation centres. Dr. Lam is active and passionate about behavioural medicine and soft tissue surgery.
She enjoys watching movies, birding, and motorcycle riding. Dr. Lam is passionate about contributing to the Scarborough community and attended Albert Campbell Collegiate Institute down the road!
Dr. Vivienne Wu
Veterinarian
Dr. Wu goes by Wan Ching or Vivienne as her first name. She has been an animal lover all her life - pet sitting for friends and family and volunteering at a local shelter during high school and university.
She was raised in beautiful Northumberland County in Ontario where she developed her love for the outdoors. Dr Wu worked as a park ranger taking care of wildlife such as frogs, fishes, butterflies and terrapin turtles.
Dr. Wu graduated with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology and International development from Queen’s University. Then she went to veterinary school at the University of Edinburgh earning her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. Her areas of passion are animal behaviour and surgery. Dr. Wu also volunteered with an affordable puppy school program with the Dogs Trust during vet school.
Outside of work, she is exploring walking trails through the woods, reading a good book or testing out different baking recipes - for both her human and four legged friends!
